poor Andy...

The plan for today was an early start to go on the new cable car across the river, followed by a trip to the 30th floor of my daughter's office block at Canary Wharf to see and photograph the view. Surprise, surprise, heavy rain put paid to that!

Dropped off my bag at an old friend's house then we went for Sunday lunch at The Narrow, a Gordon Ramsay pub/bistro overlooking the Thames close to where Chris lives, then back to her house to watch the Wimbledon final. I wish I could say I took this photo at court-side, but of course it is a photo of the TV. If the match had gone to five sets I would have had to miss the last set as I had to get to the airport. The match finished just before I had to leave, so was able to see the end. So sorry for Andy Murray, even though he lost he did Scotland and himself proud. Next time...
