Desert Yard

Gotta love the desert, right?  This is the front yard of a close friend.  I could spend hours at her place.

I had a couple of goals when I set out working with this original photo.  I wanted to make the two small saguaro in the foreground "pop."  My second objective was to emphasize the thick, gnarled branches of the various trunks of the tree.  I tried to do that by back lighting them and shading the sky a bit.  I hope you think what I did was effective.  I'd welcome your input.
