Fallen from the trees
We seemed to have escaped the worst of the weather. It was windy and heavy rain during the night and the Kessock Bridge so closed to high sided vehicles and the buses decided not to run so was nt sure if David would go to college or not but Mike took him and he got a lift home.
The weather kept changing from sunny and calm to strong winds and downpours.
We did go out at lunchtime. The sea was full of white horses but not as bad as expected and in Rosemarkie it was really calm close to shore.
A few twigs and branches were blown down and this one caught my attention as it was covered in lots of different lichens.
I also managed to grab a picture of the male Sparrowhawk.
