Narrowly missed a chimney crashing down this morning. Later, had to drive onto the pavement to avoid a tree that had fallen.

Branches strewn along pavements here in Pollokshields. Contents of recycling bins flying around. Some cleanup needed. And it's brewing up again this evening. More over the weekend, even worse on Monday.

We were evacuated in the hurricane in 1968. I'll never forget that.
