God's finger (and fist)
No time for photos yesterday or the day before – some urgent work came in and I had to get it done to justify the stiff urgency charge. Nice to have it behind me
And today we couldn’t get away until I met another deadline, but with that done, a last check upstairs revealed that the TV wasn’t working. With guests due on Sunday, that had to be fixed, involving more angst and a good bit of glowing (oh! the heat). Then our journey to the hills in Friday afternoon traffic took two hours longer. Still, we got here eventually, after stopping for a sausage sandwich and then to admire the prospect from the top of the hill. The best view is from down below, but coincides with a fast bit of road, plus too many electricity cables in the foreground. Btw, the yellow things on the right are some massive bits of machinery that will presumably be heading down the hill in the wee hours. They look wider than the road, so I wouldn't want to be driving the tow truck.
It was dark when we got here and the dogs stopped barking after a while, so we’ve left them in the run till tomorrow.
