Easy Rider
Today we went up the east coast, stopping on the way for a swim at an almost deserted beach.
We finished up at the little village of Ban Thakao, which is where we shall be catching a long tailed boat early on Monday morning for our trip to Krabi, on the mainland, and then from there the ferry to the island of
Koh Jum, where we will stay for several days. Evidently the ferry doesn't go into that island, but stops off shore and a long tailed boat will hopefully
come and pick up us and our luggage mid-water. Let's hope they're not clumsy, and we're nimble of foot.
My main picture is of a German yoga instructor who lives for half the year in the Algarve, and the other half here on Koh Yao Noi. We had an interesting conversation with him and a Spanish guy over lunch today.
The extras are of the jetty at Ban Thakao, and the instruments of torture used by a masseuse (they're not mushrooms). Don't ask me how, as I don't know.
If you want to see me hard at work relaxing, have a look at Clive's extras
