Not sunny Sunday

Opened my eyes at 8.07 out with Ruby by 8.21. . . . I know you're impressed! ;-)

As the weather forecast wasn't too good for today I had decided to get Ruby out early. Our walk was around 'our grounds', not the muddy common!

I spotted these growing wild on our walk.

I told mum if she did the bird count I would upload the information for her. She rang this morning with her list.., and what a list.. All the finches possible ~ including 12 goldfinches! Siskins, all types of tits, blackcap and many more. Mine is very boring, I wish we had more species especially as we live next door to the common.
