Battening down the hatches

Not a very successful commute today - despite checking Twitter several times before donning my head-to-toe waterproofs for protection against Gertrude by the time I got to the bus stop there were 2 trees down and the road was blocked so headed back home.

She certainly was a feisty one however once the winds and lashing rain died down she brought us more if the White stuff.
