Jazz Rehearsal

Karen, was poorly today, so our most splendid trumpet player Dave took the Jazz rehearsal tonight.  Very energetic, he made us pay close attention to our tendency to slow down by some very loud finger clicking, and made us concentrate on the 'dynamics' of the pieces, explaining that if no one could hear the soloist then it was sort of pointless.  What a hard task-master, he even mentioned the 'P' word more than once!!

It was in fact great, and a really useful rehearsal.  Thank you Dave (and get well soon Karen).
