Illusions

We went to hear the Orchestre de France at the Kennedy Center for a late afternoon concert.  It was an unusually warm day and at intermission, we went out onto the terrace to have a look at the sunset.  This building is the United States Institute of Peace, whose roof looks like the wings of doves.  I thought it ironic that the sunset reflections in the windows made it look like the "Peace Institute" was going up in flames.
