More of the Same

When this cardinal sat on the post for such a long time this morning, I just couldn’t resist taking some shots of him.  It is a good thing that I did, because that was it for photo ops for today. 

 I attended the funeral of our friend’s mother this afternoon, who had lived to the age of 101 and was compos mentis until the very end. It was a lovely celebration of her life.  And now it has started raining, and I am faced with the final bit of packing and  getting the house ready for our absence.  In case you are tired of seeing these Cardinals, you are in luck as I will be away from them for the next 3 weeks and won’t be taking any bird shots.
