Young People's Board

Back to Glasgow today for a discussion with partners about how we begin, with help from young people, to shape a board or council or forum to enable young people to contribute to the children's hearings system.

We've had research. We've had meetings and events. But how do we work to structure arrangements that are sustainable for the young people and the system that will work and be meaningful?

Good thoughts which we need to begin to put into action.

The weather was the other main talking point as this view in standing traffic shows. Sheets of torrential rain swept across the skies blasted by buffeting winds. Then in a moment the clouds cleared and a rainbow appeared. Then the temperature dropped and road bridges were closed.

The day was rounded off with one of our periodic catch ups with former colleagues and a Chinese meal. Those who have retired were looking relaxed!!
