inspired by my little cooker

I must have had it for over five years now and it's in use nearly every day. I regularly use it to cook scones, chicken pieces and apple sponge. It saves putting the oven on, which is why the advert used to say that it is 'positively mean with electricity'! It's called a Remoska and was made in the Czech republic, which appeals to me, because that's where my Paternal Grandfather came from in the days when Czechoslovakia was part of the Austrian Empire.

It's beginning to look a little shabby now and, unfortunately, this small size has been taken off the market. I hope it goes on cooking our daily scones for a long time.
