with their warpaint on at a dinner following the CSR education conference this weekend. It was a well organized two-day event meant to bring together leaders from the corporate, non-profit, and government sectors to network and strategize for the coming year, which will be a big one for SA's education system. At two thousand a head, I wasn't asked to be an SAEP delegate for the conference, but I did get invited to the free dinner, which was amazing. This restaurant, Eziko, is actually a catering school/catering service in the township of Langa, which provides opportunities for disadvantaged students to get top-knotch hospitality training. The students did all the cooking, serving, and entertaining - all top top knotch!
