Never make plans!

The plan: Get up early and head to Richmond Park for a whole load of interesting photos.

The reality: The most miserable three hours I've ever spent in one of my favourite places. The "light" was barely worthy of the word and some wind driven rain showers only added to the overall nastiness. This chubby little robin, who appeared to be doing an impression of a wren, made me smile but that was about the height of it. I suppose I'm old enough to know that weather forecasters are in fact either liars, fools or charlatans and therefore not to be trusted but the final insult was the appearance of clear blue skies and bright sunshine within an hour of my returning home!
