I bought 2 new costumes and a ......

..... towel in the hopes it would help me move quicker in the pool ----- result ----- NO !!
After 55 minutes of swim/ exercise I made hast to get home , put the car away , and get the bus into town for an appointment with the optician! I hate having my eyes tested ... the same questions, same forms to fill in, all of which are just the same as before. so now for the eye pressure, peripheral field and the retinal photo you then have to wait for the optician ( I must say she is just lovely ) then you go through all the test
" bits" . The atropine drops are then administered , to dilate the pupils , wait a while, continue the examination
,then the report and the painful part !!Guess what , no change , therefore , adjustment to the original specs. and away I go. Rather a happy bunny, the only thing was not having used the bus for ages I wasn't aware the bus station was being refurbished , hey ho now where do l go? After finding someone to direct me I trolled back to where I had come from and waited for the next bus! Not easy as it only took me round the corner , I alighted to wait for the correct one. Glad to get home and have a cuppa
The sun was soo bright and not having taken dark glasses with me I was luck to get home as my vision was so disturbed with the sun.


Happy ..... to have the optician out of the way for another year.
