Fun times with old friends

I went out to meet S for lunch this afternoon. We'd began our catching up in the pub last night but it hadn't been long enough. We popped in to a very busy Eteaket, ate delicious sandwiches, drank tea and then felt we should brave the drizzle as there was a queue for tables. Had a wander to Lush, looked at some lovely paintings in the National Gallery, admired the gulls swimming on the Nor Loch in Princes Street Gardens then headed to the Dungeons. S works at Madame Tussauds so got us in for free with his magic pass.

Really I should have been down on the Water of Leith as that's where the major flooding was happening but I'll be down there tomorrow.

Quick dinner and then out to our friend C's for a party.
