Windy

I saw some of the famous nacreous clouds this morning, but didn't get a good photo of them. Spent the day mostly unpacking and catching up with emails apart from going out to get my hair cut in the afternoon. It was quite difficult to walk along the Shore, the wind was so strong.

In spite of similar difficulty keeping her footing, the moorhen appeared to be investigating the dead Xmas tree as a potential nest site - it doesn't look very promising, but then the local moorhens have form .
