Birthday plus 1

My friend Jean always makes a great Christmas cake. Every Christmas we go round to her house for afternoon tea. But this year we didn't go as I was ill.

So for my birthday she gave me a piece of the cake with candles. It was as yummy as ever. Thank you Jean.

I've been for a check up today for my hyper active thyroid. I'm doing ok. He was training someone so I know a lot more about the condition. I'm pleased to say that my eyes are not bulging. I asked what would happen when I stopped taking the tablets. He said Pray. Not what you expect a doctor to say.

I'm going to Leeds tomorrow (today) but it's a whistle stop trip so I won't be able to see any of you lovely people that live in the vicinity.
