Quiet Night

No children in the house, Samantha is in Belgium, Ypres, on her Battlefield Tour, moving to France and the Somme tomorrow. Joshua is in Okehampton, not quiet as exotic but I bet he has as much fun.
Clare and I had Rick Stein's tonight and it was everything we thought it would be, even running out of crackers for my cheese board was no big deal.
After our meal we went into 'stealth' mode as we manoeuvred our way round Events Square until we arrived at 'The Shack' and booked ourselves in for a 1 kilo lobster at 7:30 tomorrow night, Rick Stein's are non the wiser I trust.
It is quiet, you don't miss what you've got until its not there and I miss Sam and Josh.
