Cat And Dog

I expected an uneventful Tuesday. After a nice walkie through the sheep meadows, mum said she had an appointment and left me to snooze on the sofa. One of the things I do best. But when she came home, she was unusually happy, and soon the word pizza! was mentioned, and I knew that this could be a good day!

But first, we went for a late afternoon walk. We often meet other dogs, but just a couple of them we know well enough to stop and say hello to. Today we met Lemon the chihuahua. He wore a blue knitted sweater, and was as always out with his dog sitter. He is about half my size, but he doesn't seem to realise this. He is friendly, but a bit to keen for my liking. It was very windy, so the walkie was cut a bit short.

When we came back, guess who was sitting INSIDE our front door, like she owned the place?! Molly the cat, of course. Mum says she is not allowed inside, but she seems to think rules do not apply to her. Mum's challenge was to get me inside and Molly outside without any bloodshed. She bribed Molly with MY treats - hello?! I can't imagine why she gets treats for doing something naughty like being indoors. Anyway, it worked.

The wonderful and amazing gyros pizza arrived (well, mum picked it up) just in time for dinner. Yay! The cat was, unbelievably enough, inside again, trying to sneak into our apartment, no doubt to steal pizza. That's where I draw the line!!
