Snuggly

This morning I woke up in Washington DC. After the big snowfall a week ago it is now warm and beautifully sunny!  A perfect day for going out to explore. Unfortunately I have come down with a bad cold so I decided to stay in my room and rest, hoping to feel better for my flight home tonight. Having these snuggly slippers in my suitcase help me stay cosy and warm.  And they provide an almost-suitable subject for my blip today!

I did go out briefly to buy some lunch and I yearned to stay out in the sunshine. Maybe it would have done me some good. But by that time it was time to get the uniform on and head back to the airport.
