Hotel Russell, Russel Square

I took the train to London today, met some of my colleagues from work, and we all went to a tax seminar, held at the Hotel Russell at Russell Square, Bloomsbury.  After the seminar we went for debriefing lunch afterwards at a nearby pub.  I enjoyed the lunch more than I enjoyed the tax seminar!  

After our lengthy lunch and before heading back to Paddington for the train journey home, I walked around Russell Square for a few minutes.  It continues to be cold and more grey than sunny.  The day leant itself well to the MonoMonday challenge, which I have not participated in before.  I hope that this picture looks a bit like a vintage London postcard.
