Penang Crossroads

It was Thaipusam yesterday, but I did nothing Thaipusam related. Didn't see the sights or climbed up the hill to see the sardine-tin-packed temple.

Last day in Penang. Spent the morning by the hotel pool nursing the ankle before going out to buy a few boxes of Tau Sar Pneah for myself and the office. They're these delicious savoury pastry balls of green beans (tau sar) filling. It'd be a crime not to buy any back.

Lunch at Hameediyah again. This time around they had other dishes in stock, I had a tiger prawn and the delicious onion chicken dish with my nasi kandar.
