Bounce

The end of a very full and busy week and I felt I really hadn't spent much time with Mia, so I gave her the choice of a night in with me or a sleepover with a couple of close friends.

She opted for the latter. Obviously.

I left work early and went to grab her best friend (my close friend's daughter) from school and by the time we got home Mia and her other friend were all cozied up on the sofa watching some teen vampire series. I treated them to a large bag of chippy chips (and three plastic forks) and booked them into the local trampoline centre for later in the evening.

Everyone wins. They get a wonderful bouncy chip fuelled evening and I get a few hours on my own with a book. All was well with the world.
