Bye bye

The mangled remains of the Octavia were collected today. Game to the very end, the engine started and amid a loud assortment of alarm systems the driver was able to move the car onto the towing bar. It's now languishing in compund somewhere awaiting it's fate, which is probably to be written off.

Had a good run after the car had been collected then went to the allotment in the afternoon to clear another section of ground.

Now getting ready for the journey up to the Lakes tomorrow evening. We'll leave about 7pm and stay overnight in Northampton at a Travelodge ready for an early start the following day.
