The Kelpies

On our way home yesterday we decided to take a diversion to see the Kelpies as Margaret had not seen them previously. I guess that since their construction they must be one of the most photographed artefacts in Scotland. It's impossible to create a new angle as they have all been tried. However, I was really pleased that on a second viewing they still manage to impress me and make me want to capture their spirit. The lighting on a dull day was not going to help so in post production I have at least made the effort to remove the pylons and electrical lines.
