La Palma

Although there is a dark cloud, the sun is currently out. Due to be around 20 degrees or just above.

Sailed last night at 6pm - there was a call out for an individual before sailing so not sure if we are minus one! Sailed out into the Atlantic and bobbed in the sea until 4am when we started the journey to Santa Cruz La Palma. We are only here today until 2pm so an early posting due to internet connection.

Exciting news - on arrival back at our room last night we had an "invitation to attend the Captains cocktail reception" (on top of a "towel" rabbit - see extra). Whilst I don't do formal, AJ and I are on a challenge to have the "cocktail of the day" and the offer of FREE cocktails appeals. After all it is only a drink with the Captain, we don't have to dine with him and I did bring a dress just in case!! Might even have a formal photo!
