Tulips (from Amsterdam)

A bit of an emergency blip as most of today was spent preparing for the family from Holland on Sunday.
Unsurprisingly tulips now make me think of them, although these stylised tulips were bought long before T went to live in Holland and met his girlfriend.

I spotted these two stained glass panes in the architectural salvage place in glasgow when we were designing our house.
We had incorporated old stained glass in a previous house build and I was keen to do it again.

I loved the simplicity of these unfussy panes and the subtle lemony green appealled too.
As in our previous house, T designed railings for the garden with a similar tulip design which makes for a lovely touch.

Next week we will be touring a couple of venues for the January wedding they have planned so it will be great to have them here.
