The return of the woodpecker!
So taking this blip was like doing it in slow motion. I was sat in my chair, reasonable if not quite pain free. I was watching cricket on TV always makes me feel good. I noticed a lot of activity on the bird feeder. I did not have the energy to get my camera and go to my hide (downstairs toilet), where I get most of my decent pictures, so was happy just to watch and identify the comings and goings.
Then the woodpecker returned. I thought I wanted another go at this. When I have been sitting it takes a few minutes to get up and make slow progress. The bird was still there. I went into the hall, picked up the camera got it set and quietly retuned to the room. The woodpecker was still there. I got a couple of blasts at it through the windows, still not quite catching it sharply enough. But that was enough action for me! The woodpecker left the scene.
Spent all day resting and trying to get my pain management working. It's better than it has been but I also feel drowsy because of the pain mess thenselves which does not help me do anything productive. Still no need to today so watched the cricket and now watching the rugby.
Hopefully will see the weekend out and get some improvement. Hope your day has gone well.
