Anticipation

A short corner...waiting for the ball to be hit into the D before the defenders rush out of the goal...here is the anticipation of that moment. Thomas' team seemed off their game today but they managed to win 2-0. Thomas, however, played very well today. (you can see him standing on the very right of the goal)

The light was poor for photographs today, and it was so blustery with heavy skies,  but thankfully it did not rain. You can see those clouds in the extra photos.

We enjoyed the music concert last night, Thomas played a 20th century French conservatoire piece by a composer I had not heard of called Ibert. It was very dramatic with strong dynamics and was very impressive, with some horrible high notes that are difficult to achieve on a trumpet.

A quiet evening in, we will probably watch some TV and relax with the fire on while the wind continues to blow crazily outside. At this rate all the blossoms will be off the trees before spring is here.
