Opening up

We awoke to another warm start to the day, with the temperature at 25 degrees C at 9am.  By the time we went to milk at 11am, it was 28 C, and while it was hot, the breeze that had developed made it a bit more bearable in the cowshed.  It reached 30.5 degrees after lunch - thank goodness for the air conditioning inside!

The plants are starting to suffer with the heat.  The flowers on this dahlia are looking rather wilted - this flower is one just starting to open up.
