Yorkshire Pudding Day

Official! The first Sunday in February is Yorkshire Pudding Day!
The Game Cock Inn, Austwick, and these tasty morsels were on the bar for everyone to help themselves.
I had to try one of each variety, and the cheese ones, ( looked like flowers) were my favourite.
No need for a first course then. 
So we all had the Sunday roast. A choice of beef, lamb and pork, or a little of all three. ( I had all three!)
Five seasonal vegetables and both mashed, and roast potatoes.
We were all too full for desert.
So glad our friends enjoyed it too. Such a lovely Dales pub.
We didn't do the snowdrop walk this year.This was my blip of 4 years ago  No sunshine today, but at least no rain.

We then went to Clapham and had a walk up to the waterfall.
I have put a photo on Extras, along with one of the river where there were also lots of snowdrops along the banks

Finished with tea and biscuits at our friends house.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Now looking forward to the last episode of War and Peace.
