Birthday Girls

Spent the day outside chopping, clearing and digging in the garden. So much today but it was lovely to be out - no rain, not too cold. But something was missing - the little robin who usually appears as soon as a bit of earth is turned. I hope the local cat hasn't had him.
The evening was spent in the company of the lovely ladies. Good food, food company, good catch up. And within staggering distance of my own front door. There were 3 birthdays to celebrate and a follow up lunch meet arranged for later in the week!
