Measured excitement

This was about all I could manage on my lunchbreak today but it felt good. Angus worked from the gym too and had a swim. We both felt amazing afterwards, endorphins do exist it seems.

It's been a crazy day at work. New business enquiries have been flying in. Had to put other work on one side just to get back to people. Have learnt in the past 12 years that a quick response gets you to the top of the pile, before you've even quoted, so I don't let enquiries hang out in my inbox for long.

Angus had some good news on his restaurant (had given up all faith in this project, it's been crawling along forever) - measured excitement, am experiencing measured excitement. One step at a time.

We had an amazing weekend with Squidge. She's so wonderful at the moment - cheeky, loving and inquisitive. We were meant to cook a roast yesterday but got back late as we dropped in on Mum for her birthday and then my Grandma. So we had it this evening instead - serviettes, wine glasses, roast chicken and all the trimmings. A Sunday Roast on a Monday and Squidge wolfed the lot. Happy family profile.
