Daff

The first daffodil of the year has flowered at the bottom of the garden, which is always a good sign. This afternoon I headed out over the common with the dogs for a much needed bit of fresh air and sunshine following a ridiculously busy morning at work in which on several occasions I heard myself saying, 'This is the NHS, madam/sir!' in my best Basil Fawlty voice. I mean, what exactly do they expect??

In other news, Basil has only had half a Prednisolone tablet for the third day running (I've been trying to get the dose down as a whole one-a-day runs the risk of him developing diabetes). Fingers and everything else crossed we are turning a corner.
