And here it come
With another mist morning again it soon burned off a bright sunny day, well for a little while, see the extra for the morning, Bruce decided to go and fish on the other side of the lake we didn't go Sam and I because dogs are not allowed he stayed and help me to pack up lol,
Then I see it clouds building up and quite fast I have every thing out of the tent all piled up, and lunch made, sam and I are playing ball and I took him down for a swim. Bruce came back for lunch and I said should we pack up the tent first the weather changing pointing at the black clouds that weren't suppose to be there until tomorrow, ,,,no we have lunch first,,, are you sure ,,,,,yep boil the kettle and we'll have a cuppa,,,, can' t I packed it all away,,,, never mind i'll use my little one ( he has a little burner that he takes fishing so he can have a cuppa at lunch time) I have my eye on the clouds the wind has pick up a notch or two and the temperature has dropped a tad.
Lunch done and dusted and it's getting colder and the wind has also decided to pick it up a notch or two,.
Then tent poles are inside and they slide inside one another so the push pull out, a big gust of wind came up and the pole that I was working pulled out of my grip and slid back down pinching my finger, man it hurt and did it bleed, so band aid on tent folded down and trying to keep it down was another task the wind did it's upmost to put it back up for us, any way all packed up just about to get in the car and the rain came down how lucky was that the temperature had gone from 35 to 11dec, when we got back to Wanaka it was 35 time for a swim.
The extra shot is what known as batch or a crib, so a small house built and quite rough but thy keep you dry and warm one of these belong to the local fishing club so can be hired out.
