Sóller.......and its Port

Today we made our way from Palma to Sóller, using the vintage wooden train, on the single track, through the spectacular scenery of the Tramuntana mountains towards the west coast of Mallorca.
The Sóller valley was looking at its best with hundreds of almond trees in blossom, and the fruit trees laden with oranges, lemons and grapefruits.
At the small inland town of Sóller, we left the train and took the electric tram down to port, about 5 kilometres away.
The Blip shows some small day boats/ fishing boats, which are built on a traditional Mallorcan design, tied up against the harbour wall.
It was a good day to be carrying a camera!
