Cormorants on the Thames

Back in London.  I had a wander around the Isle of Dogs with my camera this afternoon.  I have to admit to being reasonably impressed.  It is, of course, mostly new, but they haven't completely demolished all the old - see extra of what was, according to the engraved shield at the top, The Blacksmith's Arms, and now trades as an Indian restaurant.

But the new is a mixture of interesting shapes and patterns.

I took loads of photos of the contrasts and the colours.  And I had huge difficulty deciding on my blip, but in the end, the cormorants won.
