Making do.

I managed to resist pancakes at work today, as I knew I was going to make them when I got home. Unfortunately when I got home we had no plain flour or lemon so I decided to pop to the shop - or should that be three shops. I searching Aldi, Sainsbury and Spa only to find they had all sold out of flour and lemons.
After stropping for ten minutes I decided to search the cupboards and improvise, so American style pancakes it was. They were quite good considering we only had self raising flour and they were made with the wrong type of sugar. Next year I will make sure I'm more prepared!
