Girl with a Dolphin...
Sculptor : David Wynne 1973
Typical - set up a big tripod and within two minutes, there's a swarm of them, all these photographers encroaching on your scene, slithering forward creepily, so that either you get in their shots - or they get in yours.
No one I saw turned their camera vertically though...
Even the bloke on the train back had a tripod - on his keyring!!! Not a very big one mind you, or very solid either. Mine's so big that in its case it has to go in the rack above the seats.
Thanks for the comments and stuff on my mono March hares. Seems the sculptor was on BBC South News this evening (I record the local news if I'm going to be away, as the 10pm one is only 5 minutes.)
My new Merrill Moab hiking boots came early this morning, so I'm off out early for a frosty sunrise walk tomorrow.
