Mountains again..

..and a better day today, but still didn't get the jobs done I wanted to.

A phone call from an electrician to do a quote for re-wiring the hall. Coming up from Ullapool, he had a call in Lochinver in the morning, and would be in Scourie around 1.00.

So went and did some work on the tunnel, fitted the base rails on one side. Didn't have time to do any more, digging a hole for the final corner post, and concreting in.. So walked back up to the house, clearing and enlarging a ditch on the way..

1.00 now, and still no electrician, so started planting some seeds for kale and broccoli, and lettuce. Did a few jobs in the shed, and at 2:45 went in the house to call the electrician to see if there was a problem. Got an answering machine, so left a message. Then at 3, he turned up!..

So down to the hall, and show him round, explaining the works that are planned, and what needs to be done. He left around 4.00, by which time it was too late to start up again. And had to go down the croft to get some parsnips for the hotel. Veg sales starting again!..

Just had a wine tasting session with some demi johns of wine. Made in 2009, they still don't taste too good..
