Sandside

It was a fine calm and sunny morning, by lunchtime the showers came in and the wind picked up.  It's been a windy evening but dry.

Another day in the office and working away with the photo archive.  I nipped up north to Delting at lunchtime too try and get some then and now photos, unfortunately the weather had turned by the time I got there and really a waste of time.  After tea, I rushed down for my shift at the pub.  It's been a quiet evening and managed to finish early.  Me and Sammy enjoyed a fine long walk after work.  Now time for a cuppa and film.

I had been in the Delting parish this lunchtime and shame about the showers.  Coming home and I passed through Mossbank and Firth.  Both villages had a notorious reputation in the 1980s and 90s with drugs and drink but they have settled down in the past few years.  There used to be a few old crofts dotted along the area and then came oil and the oil brought hundreds of new homes to the area and now mainly council rented.  This is Sandside, my granny and granddad used to live close by at Leaside.
