Downtown inspiration

I always find it rewarding to find a quiet spot, even in busy town thoroughfares where the true character of a place still holds it true glory.
Especially when many of our city and town centres have succumbed to the needs of either commerce or the whims of town planners and developers.
By no means ignoring that the planners for the most part do a grand job in breathing life into town centres. But when there is a piece of history and character that should be preserved we need to make the most of it.
So to find just a corner which enthuses the character of a past era yet successfully marries it to the busy commercial life around it always give me a warm glow.
And the inspiration for a fresh Blip even though we may have been here in the past.
