Sunrise

Calm but very cold, it was worth being up early today to see the sunrise from the garden. I was up to adjust all the painters (ropes to me and you) on our boat which has shifted a bit in its position over the last three weeks. Even in chest waders, rummaging around in waist deep water was quite chill. Ice on the shoreline was probably a clue.
Otherwise a restful day pottering around the house, going to the library, watching White-tailed Eagles harassing Wigeon and the like. Life on the isles.......
