North Loch Euphort

Off into the wilderness that is North Loch Euphort. The crofters tried to settle it in the early 19th century but were defeated within a couple of years by the ground and the weather. 
In the days of travel by boat, it probably was not so remote but it is still bleak. They however left behind their marks and this is what we surveyed today. 
Some interesting things and certainly evidence of much earlier occupation.
