A Brighter Day

Lovely day again today but had to go up to the city for some shopping. Now, don't think all this sunshine is getting to my brain, but we went there to buy swimwear!

One thing I really hate is pulling on a cold damp cossie and that would have been a likely event later in the month. So the two of us are fitted up with spares.

Before we shopped we had a look in the Cathedral, it must be one of the smallest in the country. However I learnt something! The only reason it is called a catherdral is because it contains a cathedra. If the cathedra were put in a van and taken to Brougham chapel that place would then become the cathedral, nothing to do with the size of the building, apparently. Tell me if you think differently.
