Bright Chill Dawn Over the Fields

Up early this morning to put Jess on the 7.10 bus for college.  One of the compensations - or indeed joys - of getting up early is to see the sun rising. From the garden I can see the sun rise up through the Felbrigg Great Wood in the east, and as it rose glowing orange red the woods and hedgerows were wreathed in early morning mist which gradually dispersed, as the foliage dripped and the sun climbed...
I took a few pictures of the sunrise but rather liked this one with the row of power lines leading across the fields to a nearby farm.
Almost finished the day's work and off for a swim at a nearby pool, a calming start to the weekend.
