Teide Tree

After breakfast, my good mate John and I, dropped the women off at a local beach near La Caleta to get their sun worshipping fix, and we set off in the car to visit the local hills surrounding Mount Teide.

We stopped off at various points on the route to take in the views and amazing fresh air. (Tenerife is apparently a great place to live if you suffer from asthma).  John always make some fresh ham filled baguettes and gave me half of one to enjoy as I don't tend to eat during the day. After scoffing it I climbed up a bank to take one of this tree that had it's roots exposed and was in the clouds. A Teide Tree!
