Missing Hazel
Spent time indoors and time outdoors today. First we buried Hazel's ashes in the sand and later toured this old school building in Nehalem.
Hazel was one of our long-time group of eight gardeners who had many wonderful outings together including annual trips to Manzanita where one of us has a house. It was very hard losing her so quickly to ALS two and a half years ago, and a wonderful surprise to be given the last of her ashes and to be able to say another good bye. In the Extra photo you can see a small vertical piece of driftwood marking the spot where we left the ashes. It's in the lower left corner.
